As an HR Professional, it is essential to conduct a regular review of your HR records and procedures to ensure compliance with the law and prevent potential liabilities and employee lawsuits. Based on your previous or current position/department and the weekly readings, develop a compliance checklist that will serve as a guideline to the HR department on the work process and procedures. You can tailor your checklist based on a specific department or chose to focus on one or more aspects of the HR activity: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, benefits, etc. The checklist should feature the key steps for evaluating the process, procedures, workflow, and HR practices to help your department stay HR-compliant. Length: 1 to 2 pages and/or 3-4 slides References: Include a minimum of 3 scholarly resources.
